Giovanni Facco

SENIOR RESEARCH SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Giovanni Facco is a materials engineer who has taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Deigo.  

Giovanni has worked as a materials engineering at the U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission, he has lead efforts to develop a novel finite element analysis techniques to evaulate failure in nuclear power plant components. Additionally, he has developed software analysis tools for component inegrity analyses, and assisted in the development of probobilistic fracture mechanics codes.

Giovanni holds a Ph.D., and M.S. in Materials Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
